Diabetes Consciousness for Community was officially registered on December 20, 2018, under the Ministry of Health, Social Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children with registration number is OONGO/00010037. Our organization's primary goal is to spread awareness about Diabetes through various initiatives, including arranged training sessions and seminars.
We are committed to educating individuals and communities about Diabetes prevention, management, and support. Through our efforts, we aim to empower individuals to lead healthier lives and reduce the prevalence of Diabetes-related complications.

Our founder, Ms Lucy Johnbosco, is a dedicated advocate for Diabetes awareness and education. As a media personality, she has used her platform to raise awareness about Diabetes and promote the importance of accurate information in Diabetes management.
Living with type 1 diabetes since 2000, Lucy understands firsthand the challenges and struggles faced by individuals living with this condition. Her personal journey has fueled her passion for advocating for better diabetes education and support.
Lucy firmly believes that access to the right information is crucial for individuals with Diabetes to effectively manage their condition on a daily basis. Through her work with Diabetes Consciousness for Community, she strives to provide accurate, reliable information to empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being.
